- Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments.
- Communicate with other management, developers, product managers, and technical support specialists on product issues.
- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other meetings.
- Track and communicate progress.
- Maintain process documentation.
- Ensure the teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
- Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and remove impediments, and prevent distractions.
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
- Empower the team to self-organize.
- Develop best practices.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Guidance on flexible work arrangements will be shared during the interview process.
- Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 7 or more years of professional experience.
- Must be a Certified Scrum Master
- 7 or more years of project management and/or agile experience.
- Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, and procedures.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to understand technical issues.
- Familiarity with project management tools (i.e. Jira, Monday.com, etc)
- Ability to communicate in English (verbally and written)
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated.
- Team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse personality types.
- Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential.
